I have the game but it will not let me make an accout - Guild Wars Forums

I have looked for an answer for a while and cant find one. It says that Guild Wars is unable to process this..please try back in a few minutes. Error=4. I have the game and I was just trying to start my account. NOt working though. PLease help.

i'm surprised anyone can make characters. the servers aren't up yet. it's not supposed to come online until 3am EDT. perhaps only preorders can make characters atm. /shrug

Did you get the retail version today? If you did , it doesn't matter you still wont be able to play it because the servers are down.

I picked up my copy today, but I though that I read somewhere where you could go ahead and set up an account.

You should be able to create an account, but not create characters or start the game yet.
The error you're getting sounds like the servers are just too busy with people making accounts, so take it's advice and try again in a few minutes.
